Renewal Info

Renewal forms are mailed annually on April 15th. All licenses shall be renewed annually by June 30th, to avoid delinquent renewal fees. Applicants receiving an initial license in the last quarter of the fiscal year (April, May, June) are not required to renew for the following licensing period.

Online Renewals

All full Licensed Dietitians/Nutritionists may renew online! There is an additional $3.00 charge to renew online; however, identification cards will be received within one week.

Mailed Renewals

Renewals that are mailed to the Board office are usually processed within six weeks. If you wish to confirm that we have received your renewal application, please send your renewal via certified mail or complete and return the postcard enclosed with your renewal packet.

Continuing Education

Licensed Dietitians/Nutritionists must submit proof of holding current CDR registration or of having completed thirty hours of continuing education certified by the Commission of Dietetic Registration or the board, within the licensure period.

Provisional LDN’s must submit proof of at least 15 hours of continuing education per license year on the Summary of Continuing Education form prescribed by the Board.

Delinquent Renewals

Delinquent renewals will be accepted by the board through August 31, provided the delinquent renewal fee is paid in accordance with § 111.

A person whose license has expired may not use the title or present or imply that he/she has the title of “licensed dietitian/nutritionist” or provisional licensed dietitian/nutritionist or any abbreviation or facsimile of these titles.
