R.S.37:3086.C.1. states the minimum of a "baccalaureate degree or higher degree from a college or university accredited by Southern Association of Schools and Colleges or any other regional accreditation agency with a major course of study in human nutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, or food systems management."
